Following the farewell ceremony of H.E. Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Navazani, on the night of the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH) by the Muslim and Christian community of Zimbabwe, his excellency sent a message of thanks to the Muslims and Christians of Zimbabwe. The text of the message is as follows: Salamun Alaykom dear brothers and sisters; I wish to further express my gratitude for arranging warm atmosphere for my farewell dinner which coincided with holy night of martyrdom of Fatime Zahra the beloved daughter of holy prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and beautiful gift that have been extended to me. It also goes without saying that the presence of both Muslim brothers and representatives of the Christian fraternity is indeed a beautiful gesture of solidarity. I might be leaving the beautiful country of Zimbabwe but my spirit will always be here with you. Words alone can never suffice to express the deep gratitude that I feel for this well organised event but rest be assured that I really appreciate from the bottom of my heart.
